Getting involved isn't that difficult

The crisis in Yemen began 9 years ago and yet people are only now being educated on the issues.

This humanitarian crisis began due to an uprising in 2011 in which the Yeminis were protesting against the country's president Ali Abdullah SalehOne of the biggest protests came from a politically motivated Shia rebel group called the Houthis.President Saleh was forced to give his position to his vice president, Hadi.Although a new federal system was implemented after this change in leadership, tension began to rise when a proposal was made to divide Yemen into six federal regions. The Hadi government was not able to maintain order and groups such as the AQAP and Daesh took advantage of the political instability.Elsewhere, seeing as the Houthis lacked military power, they turned to former president Saleh for assistance.Eventually, President Hadi flew to Saudi Arabia after seeing that Yemen was to far from saving. The newly gained advantage of the Houthis was seen as a threat to Riyadh. Therefore, Saudi Arabia and Hadi formed a coalition.

Rising conflicts has left the country in complete chaos.Due to the outbreak of violence military troops are to fearful of their lives to go up against the militant groups. The innocent people who live in Yemen are forced to endure these drasctica changes and unfortunatley millions have lost their lives. Without a stable government, they lack the resources to survive. No clean water,no food and definetly not the proper care facuilties. Yemen is currently fighting an epidemic, a pandemic, a famine, and a war.Due to this circumstances, over 100,000 lives have been lost and this number only rises as the days pass.
